About 30 of us kid's ( Teenagers ) who were Seniors at Cubberley lived in South Palo Alto. She lived on Chessnut, and my family lived on Fernando st, and West Meadow dr. She alway's had a smile on her face, and knew, and sung, "All" of the Motown record's by heart. Some of us got, in and out of trouble at times, ( after all, this was the start of the 60's! ) but I never saw, or heard of her causing anyone, sorrow. I was shocked when I found out  she had passed in Southern California in the prime of her life. She was pretty enough  to be the Prom Queen, even at that time in history. Those of us that walked and "floated", through the changing 60's ( The movement, and The Struggle !! ) the disco 70's the re-hab 80's and 90's, and made it this far, should count our blessing's that life still live's within us, and we unlike Elaine and so many of our friend's were blessed to see  the 21st Century. ------------------
